something like that happened in korea to my father and i. you see..i korea the society doesnt really treat women with the same respect as men. we all know that doesnt fly here in the states (i am not saying all koreans are like this...i am just saying that some are and its a shame). so my father and i being the meegooks we are..we saw this guy beating the CRAP out of this girl while we are driving home. my dad (kinda big guy) slams on the brakes flies over the hood of the car and yanks that guy off of the girl and smacks the crap out of him. he then stops after the guy is dazzed and on the ground...walks back to the drivers side of the car and gets in all calm and drives off. you know that jeff foxworthy joke about his dad shooting the deer from the road? ..well this had the same affect on me. i sat in the seat and said to myself 'allllrighty, remind me never to piss him off' ...to this day some older korean guy probably will never raise his hand at a woman.
so it depends on the situation. in the states its hard to tell if a person has a gun or not. thats what i would be leary of. plus exactly what the cops did in taking you into custody. if you do not have a witness to back up your story...your screwed :(
